I make pictures and I write poems. I have long sensed a love affair between the two pursuits.
In this portfolio I share this affair. Is it illicit? Perhaps. Can I free myself from it? No. Do I want to? No.

I love making pictures and sometimes I love composing poetry.

Bringing the two together is heading out to sea, losing sight of the shore and not giving in to the fear.

This may be a metaphor.
